This tutorial is suitable for students and professionals in higher education (especially post-graduate students and early-career academics and librarians) who would like to learn the basics of writing a grant proposal to receive funding for an activity or project.

There is no cost to participate in this tutorial. It is offered as an open educational resource by INASP.

This is a self-study tutorial.  You can join any time and stay enrolled in the tutorial for as long as you would like. However, we recommend that you complete the tutorial within 4 weeks of joining.

A certificate will be generated automatically for you once you have met the completion criteria. You can download this certificate from the tutorial homepage.

Connectivity required

The core resources and activities in this course are text-based, so you do not need a fast internet connection. There are some optional videos in the course for which a fast connection would be useful. However, you can complete the tutorial even if you cannot watch these videos.
